Open-Front All-Welded Gear Lockers & Foot Locker Option
General: Lockers shall be "Open-Front All-welded Gear Lockers with Foot locker" as manufactured by List Industries Inc or approved equal. All lockers shall be factory-assembled, of all MIG welded construction, in multiple column units to meet job conditions. Assembly of locker bodies by means of bolts, screws, or rivets will not be permitted. Welding of knockdown locker construction is not acceptable. Grind exposed welds and metal edges flush and make safe to touch.

Finishing: All locker parts to be cleaned and coated after fabrication with a seven stage zinc/iron phosphate solution to inhibit corrosion, followed by a coat of high grade powder electrostatically sprayed and baked at 325 degrees Fahrenheit for a minimum of 30 minutes to provide a tough durable finish. Color to be Classic Chrome.
Wardrobe Doors: Open front at wardrobe area.
Hat Shelf: Shall be 16 gauge sheet steel, have double bends at front and shall be MIG welded to the sides.
12" Wide Security Box: To be formed of 16 gauge cold rolled sheet steel and securely MIG welded in place. The Security Box Door to be 14 gauge cold rolled sheet steel (plain non-ventilated). A 16 gauge continuous piano hinge shall be MIG welded to door and riveted to the body of the box. Door is equipped with a Single-Point thru-the-door friction catch finger pull. Doors to be solid (non-perforated). Padlock Strike Plates are optional.
Stainless Steel Coat Rod: Shall be full width and made of 1" diameter stainless steel tubing. Replaces double prong ceiling hook.
Unibody Frame / Vertical Side Panels: Shall be of integral frame and side wall construction manufactured from 16 gauge sheet steel. The one-piece side/frame shall be formed to provide a channel on the hinge side. An additional 16 gauge full height channel frame member shall be MIG welded to the integral locker side of 2-wide units producing a rigid torque-free welded locker body. The frame shall include a tab which engages a slot in the base locking the side panel and frame into position. Sides to be diamond perforated for added ventilation.
Integral Frame Locker Base: 16 gauge formed sheet steel with double return flanges at the front and rear. A full depth horizontal channel shall be MIG welded under the locker bottom front-to-back at the left and right side of each welded locker unit as well as beneath each vertical side panel for maximum rigidity.
Flat Tops: Shall be formed of one piece of 16 gauge cold rolled sheet steel and shall be an integral part MIG welded to each vertical side panel frame member and be continuous to cover the full width of a multiple locker unit.
Backs: Shall be 18 gauge cold rolled sheet steel, be continuous to cover a multiple column unit and be welded to each vertical side panel.
Equipment: Furnish each locker with one hat shelf and two single prong wall hooks.
Lifetime Warranty: Superior All-Welded Open-Front Gear Lockers are covered against all defects in materials and workmanship excluding finish, damage resulting from deliberate destruction and vandalism under this section for the lifetime of the facility.
Foot Locker: Seat shall be formed of 14 gauge cold rolled sheet steel with stiffener sections for reinforcement, be attached using a 16 gauge continuous piano hinge at rear and be prepared for use with padlock. Foot Locker front panel shall be 14 gauge cold rolled sheet steel with Secure-Air-Flow ventilation. Rubber bumpers are to be attached to the seat to cushion against back when in the open position. Padlock Strike Plates are optional.
